I called the Black Raven, the one who never comes back
He took me away and flight quite a long time
I told him about the world, its sickness, its dead end
What it had done to me, how fake people were
Though he didn’t seem to hear me, I felt relieved to speak to someone

A second or a century later, he left me there
There were Alan and Paul and Peter and others that I had forgotten
All of them had come there with the Black Raven, the one who never comes back
They hadn’t changed, I had. Although they recognized me
I spent a long time with them, a century or was it a second?
My heart had learned to speak and my mouth had learned to shut
And one day, I don’t know why, they said “Good bye, see you later”
And I woke up in my heavy body, wondering what had happened
And the girl beside me, she took my hand with tenderness
And I saw in her black raven eyes
The souvenir of a lost paradise.
